That must have been a great game for the neutral fans. Scotland making a mockery of their IRB standing and some might say Ireland too (2nd v 12th)

The results may have gone against them this year, but the Scots are building a quality squad and will be no-ones fools this world cup.

Just finished watching that game, Scotland could have taken it and there are a few good players to be seen in the Scottish side....in all honesty, I don;t think Ireland played to their full potential....... matters not, every world cup game ......anything can happen!

It's all change again for Ireland as they continue their World Cup warm-up with a home Test against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.

After making 13 changes to his starting line-up for last week's win against Wales in Cardiff, Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt has gone one better by making 14 changes to face the Scots.

I actually think the Scots team was MORE experimental than the Irish :D

Nic White is a arrogant prick, but I will pick him above Will Genia at this time. White is consistently making plays and will be much needed in a World Cup match where the opposition is locking down your movements. Nick Phipps (in squad) and White would had been my selection.
 
Had to whittle down my final match selection - had a couple of commitments I couldn't get out of (or just didn't want to miss, like my kid's birthday).

Yeah, I agree. Genia just hasn't been up there in recent years. Had potential to be a 2nd Gregan at one point.

White faded a bit in the Eden Park test match, but so did most of the team, in all fairness. Well, except Pocock. Beast of a player that guy.

Pocock and Hooper is an excellent starting lineup combination. In my opinion New Zealand has more depth between the loosies than any other team. The other day I had an interesting chat with a local rugby coach, he told me that in SA we build on individual skillsets than to work in a team, the topic was scrums.
