No real design changes is actually a good thing. Sony have an excellent design language and deviating from it would be a bad idea.
Perhaps it would be better if the OP listed the specs of the device as yet?
Here ya go...

Who are you and why have you stolen Fanny's account?
Looks good, Sony finally realises that 16GB just doesn't cut it anymore for a 2012 phone.
Now if only they could realise that the ridiculous 6-month release cycle is costing them in the long run. They should stop pumping out new phones and support the existing ones or people will get fed up.

Sony have already confirmed that they are moving away from that stupid six month upgrade cycle.
And I just saw this now- 4GB of RAM? Colour me impressed.
Meh, 3GB is already overkill (unless you use 2GB of that on Touchpiz.) 4GB won't make a shred of difference. What will however is the storage, you'd normally only have 12GB or so free on a Sony phone when buying it. Which was a little low in 2012 and is absolutely inexcusable now.
I'm still on my iPhone 5 after two years and perfectly happy. Unless it takes a header (again), it's going to be a toss-up between this and the iPhone 7 for me. Sony is one company that puts a lot of effort into its interface and additional software features. If I buy a phone for performance I might as well stay with Apple!
don't get excited, it's going to be a 6S, not a 7
