I think I'll save my booze and health budget and do what the Lions fans did for 3 years - just ignore them and check in once a year on any progress.

Congrats to Fanie and his team. That was a hugely impressive win against Natal. Now finish the log on top and bring back some silverware to SA's shores

The Lions are definite title contenders now. They've only struggled against one team this season.

The Blue Bulls has opened themselves up to be replaced by the Sharks.

The Bulls to play the Sunwolves and then the Cheetahs, and the Sharks to play the Cheetahs and then the Sunwolves. Sunwolves being the easy points, Mark Hammett has only taken 26 players on tour, having the little depth as it is they called on a winger replacement pulling Panasonic’s Kentaro Kodama into the touring squad.

IMO, he would be silly to go to the Bulls. They seem to wreck Cheetahs talent; Lions would be a much better fit for him.

The Bulls greatest issue is that they have an Currie Cup level, a tier below, coach :whistling:

At least Marais has earned valuable experience. Fleck has also brought little to no change to the Stormers, they are on the same creative level as they were with Coetzee. To think that both these coaches has started out as the interim head coaches... management is more important than the players, without proper management there is no rugby or no quality rugby leading into the inability to retain the desired coaches, other members and world-class players which ultimately result in a poor bank balance.

See how many Lions has renewed their contracts with the GLRU, Ackermann's smile in the box, in the interviews are an honest truth on how a union, or any other sports organisation, should be managed.

Imho, the Sharks is where Lood should end up.
