Those conditions! Just emphasizes how good the 'Canes were. Yeah, they were helped by possibly the worst Sharks performance the whole season but to score 6 unanswered tries in gale force winds and driving rain is just insane. I'm really looking some positives here for The Sharks but just can't find any right now. Hard luck M_H et al. Hopefully Mr Teichmann brings some much needed fresh air.

Willie Le Roux is ready for Japan.
Whoever thought that Beast would make good captaincy material ...
One may argue that they played in the hardest pool. The fact that the Sharks made a playoff this year is the best example of how the newfangled conference system has failed.

Pressure from our political overlords. Was insane?
Was off his meds?
Meds were past their sell-by date?
Was dropped on his head as a baby?
All of the above
As much as I hate saying it, the Bulls would have done a lot better.
Wallabies recruit former All Blacks skills coach Mick Byrne in search of World Cup winning alchemy
THE Wallabies have secured a major coup by recruiting respected skills guru Mick Byrne, just ten months after he helped the All Blacks win back-to-back World Cups.
Byrne, a Sydney-raised former AFL star, has signed on with the ARU as skills coach and will start with Michael Cheika and the Wallabies this week in Sydney.
The four-year deal will also see him responsible for developing and running skills programs for every level of elite Australian rugby, from junior rep teams through to each Super Rugby franchise.
Byrne’s appointment is a game-changer for Australian rugby and is sure to ruffle Kiwi feathers across the Tasman given the 56-year-old spent the last decade on staff with the All Blacks.
