Official Super Rugby 2016 Thread

Speaking of grins, every time the ref gives a penalty against the Sharks, he's grinning like a Cheshire cat

Didn't see the game now so not sure if The Sharks butchered that or played really well to get so close. I for one didn't give them much hope. That's two games in a row now where they've been super competitive. On the other hand, the Chiefs have scraped two matches in a row. Again, does that point to them not being as invincible as previously thought or a testament to the performance of their opposition?

Nah, they played bloody well. Chiefs were simply a bit better on the day, were able to adapt their game to grind out the win. Sharks (and fans) can be happy with the performance.

Reverse psychology

Bulls starting to stretch away from The Force. They're looking good.

/Reverse pyschology

EDIT: Ok, looks like I'm just telling it like it is. Force suck! Not picking them again. Two weeks in a row now they've let me down.

Eddie Jones has roasted the JRFU and their player work ethic, again.

Personally I believe that Jones has gone over the top with criticising Japan, as his responsibility is now placed with England, but he is right.

I also read that the Brave Blossoms must pull a player or two which are on the Sunwolves roster to compete in the Asia Rugby Championship.

I know it's a bit messy but it's a pretty fun game to watch this. Beautiful breaks from both teams.

Woohoo Blues held on. Messy but entertaining. Quite a few of us got the prediction spot on!

The Cheetahs playing disappointing rugby. Nothing spectacular. The Reds, not showing any improvement and it is sad to see that only 3-5 players are carrying the team. Yeah, the Aussies has politics at play at the Reds and Brumbies, but the players need to keep their heads up.

Good to see Hendrik Tui sign another year with the Reds, the Sunwolves needed him though, so another player which Jamie Jospeh will be unable to turn. Goromaru is next on the list to be extended with the Reds…

Stephen Moore, going to the Reds next year… probably revisiting his error this season.
