I didnt say the currie cup was useless.
The Vodacom cup and currie cup are pretty much the same thing.


You said we won no trophies at all, just helping you right.
We have 37 currie cups btw, so we're not all that interested in it anymore, it's for the weaker teams these days.

We just care about super rugby... No joy there yet, but looking good. :)

And to correct (or at least put into perspective) the other post: your team hasn't won a REAL trophy in years.


I do fancy the stormer's chances of coming second this year, though. They should be able to pull that off.

I do fear that there will be some words that require eating, come saturday night.
 
There is no chance of the Sharks beating the Stormers Saturday...for once their play almost matched the hype last Saturday, won't happen twice in a row.... :-)

You actually think the schmucks could win a super rugby title?

I'm sure the stormers will lose at least 2 more games, I don't know why we've only lost one so far.
And we tend to lose the nothing games that should be a cakewalk, so....

I'm gonna go out on a limb this early in the week and say that I fancy their chances of winning on Saturday though. Somehow, I think they have what it takes to undo the stormers defence. If only once, and that once is coming up now. I've got my tickets for the following week at Loftus and I do think the stormers will be resurgent if they fall this weekend, as the BULLS will be seeing as how the Chiefs really are tip-top at the moment. So those were tickets that just bought themselves. I feel a sharks victory on the weekend may be important for their campaign - and they know it. I expect that fight to be the match of the weekend.

I figure the Bulls are still our best team even though they are having a few blips this year.
They have a killer instinct that the stormers rarely show.

As for the schmucks, it depends on the ref as usual...

I can't remember that one, did we still win the game?

Why zre you guys still complaining about it and calling the refs cheats???

The Stormers tend to lose because of stupidity, playing crap, or another team being better than us.

Two things I see in every game are, refs getting things going (always for both sides), and players getting injured.
These things are part of the game.

Alf among the people who seem to think that mediocrity and slackness creeping in and getting worse and worse is ok. Do you apply that mindset to business too? Do you apply it to everything in life?

I can't accept piss poor decisions in the sport I enjoy, no matter what team is at the receiving end. It's bad for the game and it pisses me off that so many people can just shrug and let it continue.

I've been watching rugby since the 1970's and I can still remember gramps and my dad swearing at the ref who let Northern Traansvaal players get away with dirty play.

It's not a new thing, unfortunately you only see the "bad" things done (whether real or imagined) to the schmucks.


Schmucks supporters tend to be regular emo-crybabies, even more so than apple fanbois.
 
Maybe you should learn to read and see the discussions I have with other people from other teams that have been wronged. But no, that might require the intelligence you so sorely lack. Keep to the insults, you won't hurt your brain that way.
