So Orbital, if say the Crusaders are playing the Bulls, who do you support?

People must support whoever the hell they want. BUT - don't for one minute expect me, as a bozo from zaza, to give a flying fk about any non-ZA team (although I have always enjoyed the chiefs, yet supported even the sharks against them).

These tossers that choose as their no1 team some NZ extract - any NZ extract - annoy me because the will change that allegiance all the time (moving from Cru to Chiefs without blinking) and as long as they do not support local, they're happy. They know f-all about the the game and rather chase what they think to be a "winner".

Ja, I am passionate about my team and I don't get why so many okes in Joburg support the Sharks (many of them ditched the lions years ago) but at least they do support a local (as in ZA) team. Me, I stay with my heritage. Blue Bulls above all else. But, I won't cheer for some cnts from NZ or livestock rapists from OZ. Ever. No matter which ZA team (including the politically-charged kings) they face. Ever.

Your mileage may vary -that'd be your choice.

Hmm. In that case, probably the Crusaders. Wouldn't mind the Bulls winning, especially if they deserve the victory, though. I think the SA vs. NZ match ups are some or the best rugby out there if the teams are firing on all cylinders. Just wish our teams would play with some more confidence in their abilities!

Another hypothetical: what if those 'follow the winners' type supporters start cheering for the Bulls if they win again? Would that bother you?

The Crusaders haven't won for a while, remember. I see many have jumped ship for the Chiefs now, though. :p

I think it's a phenomenona you find everywhere. It's like when an actor wins an Oscar then all of a sudden he's everyone's favourite actor. Applies to sport, music, games, whatever else.

The injured winger tweeted: 'I highly doubt there's any place in the world where you get booed off your bus, at your home stadium, by your "fellow" countrymen. If I had the money I would happily buy all these "Cape Crusaders" a one way ticket to Christchurch!! And yet there are so many amazing, passionate, faithful supporters at Newlands!! We really appreciate your support!!!'

True, well said Habana.

The Cape Crusaders also behaved badly in the stands during the match, forcing WP Rugby to issue a statement.

'We would like to apologise to any members of the crowd who were inconvenienced in any way on Saturday,' said MD Rob Wagner. 'We will never condone bad behaviour from anyone in the crowd at Newlands. There seems to be a history of incidents when the Stormers and the Crusaders play at Newlands and we are already in conversation with all role-players to ensure that we do not have a repeat of this in the future.'

It will forever be a regular occurrence, this history will continue into the future. You can see it on school level furthering to club level (the worst) and explodes at Newlands. Not all these people are “hooligans” but they do generally wreck the Province / Stormers supporters’ atmosphere and it do get out of hand at times, where people do get hurt and fatally wounded which can result in death. Not that I have anything against the Cape Crusaders, only that certain actions of all such groups is having a negative impact on sport.

I hope the above pic is taken in the correct context... :p

Easy:

BLUES over highlanders
BRUMBIES over kings
FORCE over rebels

No idea about this weekend - these are the posers:

SHARKS should be top over crusaders but some believe this crusader ship gathers steam and the process has just begun. Discounting performance in Cape Town, where they had home advantage, I don't think they can tour that well. I expect them to be tired and hope that the SHARKS, who let's face it also enjoy building up a head of steam, can top them. But it remains a poser.

CHEETAHS and STORMERS will draw. No, wait, maybe they can win. But who is they? The Cheetahs have been great the last few weeks while the stormers have been lacklustre and may just be ready to start firing. I dunno about this one - it will probably be the weekend cracker.

hurricanes are hosting an unimpressive WARATAHS side. I somehow think that 'TAHS might start playing. But I can't be sure. So I am thinking home side advantage while expecting an upset.

Nah, last week was the worst ever, but this week:

Highlanders
Brumbies
Sharks
Rebels
Stormers
Hurricanes

I have already organised with proper match fixing channels and all officials have confirmed with me, set to go. :D

good luck with that. How has his performance been against the sharks?? That is the only thing that could swing my Superbru into Crusaders territory. Barring him being a total cnt, I will stay with my home side temptation.

I've got two different to your predictions. If you get them right then I will be very impressed.

His performance is just shyte no matter what game/team he's reffed. A really poor quality moegoe with a massive ego.
