Cheetahs v Bulls

Oh hell I don't know what to make of this. All BULLS fans are saying BULLS. All others Cheetahs. At least, in my social circles where BULLS fans = me + 1 other.

What would the best outcome be for SA rugby? The BULLS cannot go top of the log even with a full house. Cheetahs are already in fourth and a full house could only help them. My loyalties remain with my team but another outcome wouldn't be a complete disaster.

Either way it does not matter there will be a positive and a negative out of the game.

Either The Cheetahs increase their chances of staying in the top 6 and possibly winning the SA conference, or the Bulls increase their chances to End in the top two thus giving them some home games with only the final that can be away.

Just in case you guys missed it, the Stormers won :p

Still hard to believe even though it was n bit of a boring game. At least it is a win for us, against a team everbody expected us to lose.

Seeing as there will only be 1 game worth watching this weekend ...... I'm going with the Cheetahs. Big call but I think they can muscle the Bullies like the Sharks did and finish off way better. The right Cheetahs team has to show up though, that's the thing.

In other predictions: Sharks to get the win this weekend, guaranteed! Put money on it.

Haha, do not be surprised if the Kings give the Stormers a good run for their money.

I flipped a coin. Cheetahs.

Also help that I love their style of rugby. Adriaan Strauss is such an inspirational leader!

Voting for the Kings on Superbru so the Stormers win again.

Small price to pay...

Crusaders v Waratahs
Neither of these former juggernauts has been particularly up to scratch this season. Give it to the home team. They're also looking marginally prettier.

Brumbies v Hurricanes
Brumbies will value the result of a good (BP) win at this late stage so expect them to go at it strong.

Highlanders v Blues
If other things go their way, Blues can lift themselves out of 7th into contention provided they haul everything that they can from this game so I expect them to do just that, leaving nothing to chance.

Reds v Rebels
Rebels have the potential to surprise the reds but I don't think they would do that to a country mate this late.

Stormers v Kings
Every weekend needs an upset - and since Chris took it so will I. Go WP!

Cheetahs v Bulls
Actually, I think the Cheetahs will take this one - just got that feeling, but I'd rather lose SB face than go against my team. Especially when it is this important.

I can say the same about the cheetahs, if they are just able to round of some of the runs and not fumble in the end, IMO I think the cheetahs has n better chance of beating the bulls than the sharks had.

Small chance, but still better.

Hello Altair - where you been? Welcome to the only part of the off topic forum that doesn't speak utter crap all the time. If you want M_H to read your stuff, then never agree with Alf :D

Having said that, I agree completely with your view here and with Devill above: the cheetahs winning firstly is not a far-fetched outcome and secondly not a bad result for the country. We're gonna have one hell of a weekend is all I can say...

As a Cheetah supporter I have my doubts and I think we are going to choke. The Bulls have always been our bogey side.... except for a few Currie Cup games a few years ago.

I will be more than happy to be wrong this time but my money is on the Bulls to take it.

It was 22-10 at that point. They fought back well, though. 23-22 final score.

So much for my margin point. But I guess a win is a win.

Whew! I got that win then. Got worried that the GSP was up in smoke on the first game of the weekend (again!).
