What a game between the Stormers and the Chiefs. it was the best game of the S15 so far. Stormers showed everyone why they are conference Champs even without the services of Eben Etzebeth, Juan de Jongh and Schalk Burger. Eben adds at least another 20% value in the forwards. The backline just showed what they capable of against the chiefs. once the team has gelled properly they will be hard to stop. bulls and the sharks played us at the right time.

The Chiefs are still the benchmark in the competition. to score 4 tries away against a very good stormers outfit shows you that they are a quality side. it will be hard to beat them. the score should have been bigger as the chiefs got away with professional fouls which the referee did not take action. the ref should have given the chiefs another yellow for playing the man and playing the ball on the ground. stormers should have scored 4 tries.

i must mention the bulls for beating the blues. never in my mind did i think that they will beat them.

Very entertaining game, but with home ground advantage, a team that at last "clicked" and opposition who traveled and were down to 14 men for 20 minutes we should have won by a better margin.

Step in the right direction though.

yes, step in the right direction. the bye comes at the wrong time, we are gaining momentum. we should beat the brumbies in 2 weeks time as they are not as physical as the new zealand teams.

It's a great stadium. It was designed to be multipurpose, with those big in-goal areas. The grounds keeper is really amazing, it held up well during 8 AFCON matches. Straight after it hosted PSL football and rugby in the same week, and still looked good.

The EP and Southern Kings call it home now, all the stadium needs is a football tenant.
 
The weekend poser looms...

Last week, I made head choices and failed. Should made heart choices. The posers include:
* Bulls - Crusaders: Crusaders have been crap so far. As stated above, they should start firing soon. But, after that performance against the Blues, the Bulls may just be ready to take the heat. So, head says ??? heart says Bulls.
* Waratahs - Cheetahs: Actually, the argument is exactly the same as above. Tahs are play on reputation only (Waugh days) just like Crusaders. And just like Cru, they will start firing soon. And just like the Bulls, the Cheetahs are ready for anything after their impressive display last week. And head says ??? heart says cheetahs.

I agree about the Crusaders firing soon. But I am still going with the Bulls this weekend. Think Crusaders are another 2 games away from realising they need to start grafting or lose out this season. Blues & Chiefs seem to be the stronger NZ teams this year.

I don't think the Waratahs are going to make it this year. All the talk from Aus suggest they are super crap this year. For that reason alone I am going to pick the Cheetahs for successive wins. (Going with my heart and just a little bit of head)
 
The Cheetahs game is easy to call. Logically the Cheetahs should win which means that the Waratahs will win.

It's the 50/50 games that are tough to call.

I really hope that the Cheetahs win. I mean if they play anything like they did last week then I can't see why they shouldn't win. However it's been a strange couple of weekends so it just kind of feels like the Waratahs will take it. :)

So what happened was, spectators were expecting their seats to be empty but found that someone was already sitting there.

The people already sitting there claimed that it was their seats, but could not prove it as their tickets were "taken" from the security at the entrance gate.

And so the arguments went on, and the people already sitting, that claimed their tickets were taken, started getting violent.....and so this video was created.

The White guy in the video, with striped shirt, was trying to help the old man that was attacked by the coloured guys in Red. He was trying to seperate everyone, and that is when they jumped him too. I can also confirm that he had not consumed any alcohol before and/or after this fight.

I apologize for not getting the first few moments of it, as I did not think it would lead to a fight.
