You are the one blaming their bad start in the Super14 on the refs not me. Annoyed? Far from it, I just want you to come out and admit outrigth that you balme the refs for losing :D Maybe go read back on those games. I recall 1 match they got dealt a bad hand ;) Appart from that they lost the rest themselves. But you need to blame someone right? Maybe blame Ruan Pienaar for that one match the threw away then :D

Pitbull, please try and follow the simple logic.....

* You asked a question which was clearly wanting me to state that their bad start was based purely on bad form.
* I then thought I'd question why you stated they had a bad start. Was it something specific regarding their game plan that you picked up (we can then discuss this) or was it based purely on them losing 5 games.
* If it was the latter then the bad refereeing decisions had a direct role in this!!!!

They lost most of those games by narrow margins! Correct calls would have prevented this. So YES, I repeat again, the refs can be blamed for the bad start if your definition of bad start is losing five games ion a row.

But I can see you are going to battle to follow so let's just leave this back and forth stupidity.

And people say Bulls supporters are bad losers :D

Actually we say a lot of other things about them too.... and this discussion proves a lot of them!

And I thought your team never loses so when did we say you were bad losers. Oh wait, it is that illogical Bulls fan thought process again!

Did not watch the Bulls against Crusaders game, but as i am hearing that it was home town ref. Alot of decisions went against the crusaders. The last try was the most controversial. The replay shows clearly that the ball was pass forward and try should not have been allowed, irrespective what happened after the ball was pass and whatever happened afterwards, i.e. hands, heads. That decision alone changed the outcome and will have an influence on the last few games. I still cannot picture why refs are chosen from the host country. Marius Jonker was clearly blowing for the bulls no matter what anyone says. I want to watch rugby where a neutral ref takes charge of the game.

The game was a real shocker IMHO

Yes, no South African refs should referee the semi-finals or final - even Jonathan Kaplan. Why did SANZAR get rid of the system where the referee was chosen from the country where the two teams didn't come from i.e. Australia in this case?

I think this year of non-neutral refs has made it very clear that non-neutral refs is a big fail ..... When we had neutral refs we never had as many dodge decisions as we have had this year.

Bulls wing Gerhard van den Heever will appear before a SANZAR judicial officer on Monday, after being cited for foul play following Friday's Super 14 match against the Crusaders in Pretoria.

Van den Heever was cited under Law 10.4 (j) for lifting Crusaders replacement Tim Bateman in a tackle in the 73rd minute and not lowering the player safely back to the ground.

Van den Heever received a yellow card from referee Marius Jonker for the offence.

The Bulls won the match 40-35.

The time and venue of the hearing will be advised in due course.

According to the 2005 IRB rules, he should have really got a red card (although I'm not sure if they have been updated, so if they have I apologise)

Dangerous Tackles – To be treated at the upper end of foul play scale (red card, and work down, not the reverse)
· High
· No Arms
· Spear
· Tackle on the collar
· Any player who puts a player in the air or caused a player to be put in the air has a responsibility to ensure that the player is brought to the ground safely.

Shame I think they should bring back the CATS (Cheetahs/Lions) and give the Southern Kings a chance, so they can beat the Lions record and then they can stop this nonsense of them replacing one of the teams, or maybe surprise us ;)

Vrystaaaat!!!

Dammit Sarel Pretorius is having a blinder today. And Bjorn Basson must be one of the best players under the high ball at the moment. And captain courageous is awesome on defence, like always.

Shame there must be a bunch of Bulls fans having to fight all sorts of inner demons tonight. Poor things are having to shout for the Sharks! ;)

Go Sharks!

*contented happy sigh*

Thanks for the pride Sharks ........ and vatso jou Breezers

Stevie G you are a moron.

I watched the game. There were no bias calls. A bad call now and a gain from the ref but that went as much for the crusaders as for the bulls. Now please go ask the lions for their "Rugby for dummies" book and read up a bit.

Nha was rooting for the stormers. It means more to me if we end with the top two teams... also I do not want my team to end top because we got "lucky".

But well done to the Sharks. RP looked the most like a flyhalf I have ever seen :D

Ok. I missed the game, but I just watched the KykWeer today. I thought Marius Jonker did really well in his handling of the game. I never saw the truck and trailer and in some cases the Crusaders should have gotten yellow cards. In one other case the Bulls shouldn't have gotten a card. The last try, when I saw it in real time, I could see no problems, and in slomo, I couldn't see problems either.

I really can't understand you guys...
