If kenny waits till after the euros the prices will be inflated. I hate this time of the year. Silly season indeed! 35 mill! Just the thought makes me light headed.

Silly redknapp should have sold defoe to us in jan.

Word is deal and salary package agreed in principle between Ajax and Arsenal for Vertonghen and then Arsenal tried to act all skinflint and tried to renegotiate terms with Jan, as a result he cancelled deal and has undertaken not to have dealings with Arsenal - reported in obscure Dutch paper- don't know if there's any truth in the matter.

AFAIK, he's signed with Sp*rs. All but the fee has been agreed. Apparently a 75k deal for the player, but the club want a 5-8million lowering of the fee.
