Borini to Liverpool rumours. Rodgers took him on at Swansea in the Championship and he is quite highly rated.

Yup, Rodgers coached him when he was in Chelsea's youth squad I think (if I remember correctly).

Yup. He's very much a favourite player of mine. Reminds me a lot of Inzaghi. He has no blistering pace or outstanding ability, but he is in the right place at the right time and works his socks off. We really needed him last season (the last two to be perfectly honest with you) but he went and that's that.

Gem of player.

I hope we sign him, been doing quite a bit of reading on him. He sounds decent :)

9 is an unlucky number in Japan, so doubt he'll wear it. Besides past players wearing 9 have all been strikers.

True, but 7 brings a lot of pressure and a reputation to live up to.

Personally I'd like to see him in his Dortmund number, 23. Don't know what number Cleverley would take then.

Doubt it'll happen, Cleverly has already started media branding with TC23 or something like that.
 
Icelandic media reporting Sigurdsson has not yet decided. (Dad says so in interview) Both Pool, and Tottenham have made offers.

Don't know that to believe so I'm going to wait for the official statements.

Spurs have offered him a salary of 15k more than LFC has + players prefer London, so doesn't look good for Liverpool at all.
