Dude honestly bakkies is a legend and nothing will change anyone's mind about him.

His yellow card was something he had too take or the AB's would have scored a try.

AB's may seem like they are playing poorly but i think it is more a case of us putting so much pressure on them, that they do not know how to handle it.

What happened to dan carter?

A win is a win and the boks are in the box seat...but the reality is that the AB's are probably playing worse than I have ever seen them and unlikely to be a factor in this series....lots of poor choices to put themselves under pressure and many mistakes when not even under pressure.

Interesting that the player 'ganged up upon' by regulators according to saffers ...i.e. Bakkies, took one minute to knee someone in the in goal after grounding...later was sin binned and later only avoided a red card when the linesman realised that the same player had already been binned (linesman changed his mind).

This will happen if a player is suspended, but his employers and followers tell him he did nothing wrong...i.e. the punishment has no effect.
Oh why is everyone against poor Bakkies just because of his 'reputation'?

Good teams are made to look bad by better teams. They are still nr 2 in the world imo. And if we beat the Aussies we will cement the fact that this is a great Bok team.

Also as to bakkies.... He did nothing wrong to get banned for those two weeks. This week he was a bit unlucky as a lot of players does what he did
and are not spotted. But he did deserve the card imo. But he is the best nr 4 lock in world rugby atm.

What happened to dan carter?

He has been playing for the last two weeks IIRC (for a club team) and Mr Henry has said that they will look into bringing him back if he is ready.

That's the thing, the only guy that comes to mind is Riaan Swanepoel but he needs more game experience.

Are you serious????????

So the Springbok squad according to MH is:

1 Badenhorst S
2 Blignaut N
3 Botes J
4 Carstens D
5 Cronje R
6 Daniel K
7 Deysel J
8 Downey J
9 Du Plessis B
10 Du Plessis J
11 Dumond M
12 Hargreaves A
13 Jacobs A
14 Jordaan D
15 Kankowski R
16 Kockott R
17 Mtawarira T
18 Muller J
19 Murray W
20 Ndlovu S
21 Ndungane O
22 Pienaar R
23 Pietersen J P
24 Smit J
25 Steyn R
26 Swanepoel R
27 Sykes S
28 Terblanche S
29 Van den Berg A
30 Vulindlu L

Will you be happy when the springbok squad of 30 looks like this? You say you are not looking "provincially", but me tends to think you glorify every shark player, and every shark player is better that any other player...

Guess Morne Steyn had a lucky day, and he will have to go to his rightful place on the bench when Ruan 'I-AM-THE-BEST' Pienaar returns?

You are very quick to say the bulls supporters do this and that... but the MOST biased guy here is you..... wake up....

Who would be your nomination as a replacement for Jean de Villiers?

Olivier imo because he was by far the best inside centre this year in the S14. But for some reason he strikes me as one of those players that can't make that conversion from S14 to test rugby that easily.

Maybe he just needs a bit more game time for the boks.

/applauds idiocy of Bizkit  Myself and Techie were having a discussion about the lack of depth regarding centers and I happened to mention Rian Swanepoel ... ending with "but he needs more game experience" - meaning he is nowhere near ready ;) Also, if you actually bother to read my other posts, especially regarding the Springboks, you would see how I normally say 'excellent team, apart from Januarie and Chilliboy' ..... why would I do that if I wanted the whole Sharks team as the Springbok team ;)

Seriously, go have yourself some more brandy and come back when you can make some more sense, mkay.

Oh look Bizkit, a Bulls fan who sees sense regarding the center backup too ... shock and horror

We're busy with a discussion, i critisise your point, and you revert to calling me an idiot! the irony is so deep here, i'm not surprised you can't see it.

But i will not go to that level, [namecalling/judgement of intellect etc], since i will not be able to argue with you. Purely because you'll drag me down to your low level, and beat me with experience!

fixed...

So all bulls guys are now brannewyn and coke drinkers,.... you forgot to add in the 4x4 bakkie, and the wife-beater shirt!

anyway, i respect that we are allowed difference of opinions, and i'm more than willing to debate for days about whose better/better team etc etc... but this viewpoint that i criticize your argument, and calling it "idiotic"... well thats just silly

idiocy doesn't mean idiot btw .... look the word up ;) Ditto on the brandy comment .... most people drink brandy or whisky, I chose brandy at that moment in time but you read something into it, lol

And just to finish off .... you didn't criticize, you made a wrong assumption and I told you to go back and read all my posts to see how wrong you are ;)

//moving forward....

It has been interesting reading about what the Wallabies want to do on Saturday.

Do they want to front up against the Boks like the Lions' game plan or will they keep the ball away from our pack and spread the game wide?

Lol, with brussouw and bismarck doing a fair bit of "Liberating" the ball the ball I think thye will find it hard to keep it away from us :)

This last game proved 1 and for all that Morne Steyn is a brilliant goal kicker thats all but yet again failed to get the backline moving it was completly dead. His Tactical kicking was also very poor as for his 31 pts all came from penalties and ofc the try I could have scored with my hands tied behind my back.

Did we watch the same game? Could you please show me where he missed a tackle? Can you also please explain to me how a poor flyhalf gets a BULLS backline moving to record a record winning margin in S14 final?

He might not be as good as pienaar in that respect but far from poor.

And here I thought we were moving on?

Whoever PdV picks at no10 will get every South African's support on match day as we are proud BOK fans.

Yes without a doubt but pienaar will be poor, he will be under such massive pressure to perform, if he misses his first kick they may as well substitute him for morne.

the try I could have scored with my hands tied behind my back.

YOU???

We have a chipped joker in our midst!

You forgot that if Morne was not in that position at the right time then there was no try! unless of course someone else was there and he did not knock it on as usual.
