That's going to be quite soon, if you don't think you could use 64 bit (in general) Vista atm, then I wouldn't get my hopes up about SP1. The problem is basically a lack of 3rd party drivers, especially 64 bit.

Then I'll have to wait for Vista SP2 64-bit.

Seriously, why pay R3000 for Vista 32-bit & it's obsolete within two years?

AFAIK the retail version contain both version and you can install any version at any time, but only one running at a time. Therefore you can use 32 until 64 becomes better supported

As I understand it, the Vista key you purchase, will determine if you can install the 32-bit or 64-bit version. You can't have both.

Seems you have to pay a small fee to activate the 64 bit if you purchased the 32bit

Well thats BS imo, so you could happily use a crack for the 64 bit version to try it out, and buy a 32 bit key.
