That's the price we're paying for better consumer grade products. The get used by consumers. Back in the day you saved your adsl and downloaded torrents from the office uncapped lol.It is shaping.

I can stream Netflix in HD with not s glitch any time of dsy or night and can download anything at line speed in business hours.
But come 4:30 pm my max download speed for "questionable" streaming sites is <200KBs on a 10Meg line whilst Netflix is still 100% line speed.

i got a message from vox to say they increasing their prices in feb. didn't they just drop the prices?
this was the emailI have not received that email as yet from Vox. The only thing I am receiving from Vox right now is crappy net. Running on my Afrihost account at the moment just to get constant speeds.
Mine is still perfectly perfect, zero complaints.
It looks like it is mainly the Western Cape that has Capacity / Infrastructure issues, I have seen that with several ISP's in the past.
I think they assume we spend most of the day on the Beach looking at the Mountain so have no real need for internet![]()
Sunday again and the same happens. During the week in day time it's good but it seems saterday? and sunday? is a problem.... At night time I don't use the Internet so I don't know how it is then.
Perhaps they run into capacity problems on weekends because everybody is streaming stuff. Really hope not.
