Official Vox DSL feedback thread

so why is there such a lot of people in the western cape with the 6-11pm problem

Without getting into too much detail, probably because other ISPs may have had the same configuration we moved away from.

My personally opinion is that when new tech is forced to work with old tech there might be adverse effects.

Like a ghost town in here!

How's the latency in Cape Town guys? Back to normal I expect?

Posted in the Fatpipe thread last night - latency and general throughput were the best they've been in a long time in the evenings. Night and day. Thanked you in that thread too, but just to reiterate, thanks again for your continued efforts in resolving the evening issues.

Are Torrents being blocked this morning?
I can't get any channels to open In AcePlayer but they all run fine If I switch to a Telkom Account.

slow speeds again - cannot even do a speedtest

Yip something is broken at Vox. My capped account with 350GB is downloading at 28KB. Can't even load the Vox website.

Checked my dial-up modem by switched to Afrihost account, getting full 10Mbps. So something is fubar at Vox.

Ok we back in business again! Someone at Vox must have hit the reset button :D

We had a huge DDoS attack on the network. I believe it's all resolved.
