Hi All

The estimated time to resolution has been set to 11:45 AM.
Fibre technicians are onsite repairing the damages.

Is this affecting gaming traffic, because it's horrible again? Traces look normal for the game server but it's crawling.

In response to the Telkom fibre break yesterday (Wednesday, 11 November @ 9:30am) that brought down one of Vox’ IPC's carrying traffic for our ADSL northern region, our network automatically rerouted traffic via our other IPC’s.

After further monitoring, the service remains stable, giving Telkom the opportunity to resolve the matter accordingly.

The fault is being managed with high priority, and a further update with regard to the full restoration of services will be communicated with urgency. No ETTR is available at present, however services should not be impacted at this point in time.

Hi Voxy,

My usage tracker is borked. Instead of showing about 2gbs of usage for today, it's showing 200mb.

When can we expect zero-rated data to be displayed correctly?
I used about 20Gb last night but it says 0.

Subsequent to the JHB IPC losing connectivity (Wednesday 11 November 2015) and routing via redundant IPC services, Telkom managed to resolve the problem on their network (Thursday 12 November 2015).

Traffic that was routed via the redundant medium now traverse the restored IPC.

After monitoring, we can confirm that the fault has been resolved.

The parsing system was stopped last night to fix the previous issue ... developer got a wrist slap now and has turned it back on.

Should be caught up in the next 2 hours.

Sorry guys.

Hello everyone

Does both download and upload count towards Fat Pipe usage? I have to do large uploads (on a 40/3 line, it will takes DAYS) to my server in Germany and don't want to use all my cap up.

If not, could this maybe be considered seeing as how xDSL is asymmetric and the majority of usage is download?

Unless of course this underutilised bandwidth is repurposed for Server (hosting) use.

Anyone else having issues connecting with Vox capped account? My Mikrotik is sitting at "Link Established" for 30 seconds then "Terminating" and is stuck in a loop. Tried disabling and re-enabling the interface with no luck. My 5GB IS account, 1GB Afrihost and 1GB WebAfrica all connect instantly. This is happening on both my Vox accounts.

Edit: Looks like it was an issue temporarily. Both accounts now connect. Someone must have been rebooting something :D

Upload does count towards traffic. I'd suggest doing the upload during the free time if you're worried about maxing out your cap.

The Bandwidth type display in the Overview tab appears to be missing an opening tag in the code.
