Offline play coming to Diablo 3 on PC?

“Diablo plays best when you’re playing with other people. Because not a lot of people connect their consoles to the internet, that’s where the whole idea of having to get four people on the same couch playing together. That’s how we get that social aspect,” said Diablo 3′s game director Josh Mosqueira.

If they truly believed that, they should only allow 2 players or more to play at a time. i.e. no single player should be allowed on the console or PC version.
 
I lost interested in D3 very quickly.

I'd rather play XCOM ENEMY UNKNOWN again... and again and again...
 
Urgh, I'd rather play the original Xcom over and over again. The new one was fun, but I can't even stomach the thought of a second playthrough. It just has way too many flaws.

*BTW, this is now an X-com thread because **** Diablo 3*
