DRM is not about stopping piracy, its about stopping second hand sales. EA wants that money and uses piracy as their valid reason to implement drm. Drm is useless in combating piracy as has been proven with spore and mass effect.

Bethesda will probably get sued for this securom as ea has since it clearly violates rules in not allowing the user to use his legitimate software like nero,daemon tools,ect on his system.

No there's there's no editor. They did say they may release one latter on.

For anyone in the Pretoria are who has a preorder for the normal pc edition from bt games. I just spoke with them they have the xbox 360 and pc collectors edition in stock and they should have the normal pc edition in store by 3pm. So we should get our games by 3 pm.

2. Find a crack and crack the game
3. Play without any issues

I actually see myself doing the same. Main reason I want the Collector's Edition. I want the goodies that come with it so that I actually "feel" like I'm getting something out of PAYING for it that the pirates aren't.

Wooot! I've been playing it for 4-hours straight now

Been playing it on other half's computer - P4 3.2GHz, 256Meg ATI X1650 Pro with 1GB RAM, texture and anisotropic at max and it runs smooth as silk. It's obviously not even remotely a graphic-intensive game, but it looks good. Also there's practically no loading time between areas - for example entering houses and all that.

I'm really impressed. The expressions are a bit bland, but the voices carry them through. It "FEELS" like Fallout and it seems to have a depth to it

I'm happy as heck

DRM-wise I didn't have any problems whatsoever either - so I'm ok with it.

All I can say is that at this rate Fallout 3 is heading for my list of all-time favourite games

*bounces around* I stopped myself from playing because I want to play it with my GTX 260 (whenever I get it back) so that I can enjoy it in all its splendour

The Making Of DVD that came with the CE is really well made too

I'm generally pretty chuffed with this game and the CE kit. I'm also very impressed with Bethesda

Oh... and I love the ghouls I think they were really well done too!
