If you're a Capetonian then you get no sympathy from me. Women in Cape Town tend to be dismissive, arrogant and difficult to approach then they wonder why they don't meet any guys outside of their little group - whining about all the guys being taken or gay.
Here is a tip. If you see a random reasonable looking guy looking at you and he smiles at you when you notice - smile back.
Okay, so I'll smile back at everyone, m'kay? Lately my point of view is that all b*tches tends to get the guys. Don't call me stuck-up for having standards, most of the guys I know has shown my their real colours. One of my friends told me 'you can change him', but I just don't have the energy. My ex use to come home at 3 / 4 in the morning, and for those wondering why I didn't go with: I was preggies. Maybe the girls (some) in Cape Town are so grumpy because the guys made them that way?
But even though it sounds like it, I'm not trying to make excuses, I know I can be antisocial at the best of times, but:
Being single sucks!l

I love being single, at first it was a bit depressing as i had quit smoking so i think it made it worse but i am glad we never got back together.
No more wondering how am i going to get out of a braai or someone's birthday or going out in general, no more dealing with moods. No more wanting sex all the time with a partner that never gave it a thought. Being single is actually awesome for me as i can happily chill on my own, watch sport and play on the pc. I love doing those things so for me it is awesome.
Obviously you get those days when you wish you had someone to love or to love you but then i think about all the shyte you need to do to maintain that way of life and i get as huge smile on my face.
How many of you go on dates via online sites? It must be pretty damn scary.
smiles back.....
