Wantitall used to list the product; now they don't? -- their response was very "customer friendly" -- look at our site, if you can't find the product then we don't support it -- delivery typically 7 to 15 days (anyway according to Google they used to list the product at R2473, so definitely not the cheapest on the block)

Ok feedback from OWC; base price is $118, FedEx International delivery is: $92 which makes the total $210 (~ R1645), so then we need to add in VAT @ 14%

So basically R1875 without what appears to be the minimum ad valorem duty of 7%http://www.sars.gov.za/home.asp?pid=44297; the importitall price does not seem all that bad -- nevertheless it's quite evident that much of the high prices are linked to the shipping expense... Well I'm still considering going this route, guess you have to decide if this high price is acceptable for you.
Also will be cheaper if you're willing to use US postal service ($71 vs $92) -- takes longer and I also just want to check on how secure this route is (but even then we're looking at ~R1800 with VAT & customs)

I have just had a look at another two Gumtree keyboards... and these also have dead-key problems. Pity.

So I think that the Otimus Maximus it will have to be then... do they have one with white keys ?

After a few Gumtree failures, and a Windows chicklette Apple wannabe, finally, a R400 original new one, on special from Apple store;

Happy as a pig in excrement he is... and even likes the feel of it after all.
