OLX launches improved app and website

One Note purple looks nice. Though I miss being able to search my entire province.
 
From a business point of view it is terrible. We sold a lot of items through OLX and have over 100 adverts. Now, looking at the online version of this purple mess, we see the adverts are no longer in sequence. We cannot tell what adverts are the oldest, or list them like we did the old OLX website. We cannot refresh any adverts, and this idea of marking them as sold is ridiculous. Why can't we just delete sold adverts? Oh wait, no, we can't delete adverts either - that option only works sporadically. Some adverts delete, some do not and have to be deleted again before they are really gone.
Location is also screwed. It keeps on putting our location as in the middle of the Tygerberg Nature Reserve.
A lot of this is teething problems. Maybe things will get better, but until they do, we won't bank on any OLX sales.
 
Tried it yesterday, couldn't find what I was looking for.

Junk site in more senses than one.
 
Tried to post an ad yesterday, why do I need an OTP(which never arrived) to simply log in?

Gave up, gumtree must be laughing their ass off
 
Funny site indeed, dont know which is most recent or outdated ad.
 
If you add Letgo to your phone and compare it to the new OLX app you will see they are completely duplicating each other. Why do that? I used to get a bit of business from other provences using OLX. No more.
 
There are millions of OLX site visitors without Facebook accounts and with this latest changes it means they cannot be able to respond to the ads. Both the sellers and potential buyers will be the biggest losers
