OMG No!!!!!

I just dont think i'd be happy if i opted for the case I didnt want vs the 2 week wait I have left - would have some serious buyers remorse - hope they dont process the order till tomorrow... I will just use a plank for now , waiting on my ram anyhow, sahara+rectron = no 1gb ddr2 800 modules :( so I dont really need the case till I get the ram.

Me got the handle case too before the Sagitta.
Jsheed why don't you try some other places who stock 1g DDRII 800 Ram?

For one rectron/sahara have it by friday and its 169 ex vat, so like 180 or so for 1gb ddr2 800, whereas chaos that I went to today want R600 for 1gb ddr2 800 module and matrix wanted 380 for OCZ elite ram (thats ok , but sheesh chaos was crazy.) I also want 4gb so like that increase in price x 4 is annoying my already tight budget.

Oh yeah forgot to mention with the day on the order pcmall have given me a voucher for 5% off my next purchase - probably would equate to free delivery so I'm happyish theyve done their best to satisfy me, good service even though product isnt around.

Update: Sticking with original chassis - Raidmax Smilodon - Pcmall.co.za will notify me when they have stock...

Pcmall UPDATE

Update: Pcmall.co.za put me in contact with their supplier for Raidmax in CPT - Eurobyte - They then told me I could go have a look at the Raidmax Aztec and that if I liked it I could take it from Eurobytes offices - got in touch with Eurobyte and they told me no Aztec in stock but that they could get my original Smilodon that I wanted - I agreed - they sourced me one in one day (after waiting nearly 2 months via pcmall.co.za) , went to pick it up today and was told I could not as pcmall had only told them I was to view it and not collect it as I was told by pcmall.co.za

So now I have to go back tomorrow - waste more petrol - more time off work - boy am I pissed - Gillion from pcmall.co.za offers good service but when it comes to their sourcing of products pcmall fails horribly and I am on the verge of cancelling my full order and filling out dealership forms with Eurobyte myself in order to source this Raidmax Smilodon.

This has been going on since the beginning of Jan as far as I can see via my emails.

Phoned the company back to see aztec - never seemed to be able to get
hold of nazli when I called and was not able to view case due to time
constraints my end.

Phoned them again today spoke to a man by the name of Clifford , he
informed me that the Aztec is sold out and they cant offer me it anymore
as they simply don't have stock, however he informed me that 3 of his
clients have Smilodon's in stock that he can recall, so he is going to
speak to them tomorrow and hopefully have one recalled by Wednesday for
me to go view/pickup.

Went to Eurobyte - took 2 hours off work - went to go see the Smilodon they sourced for me - only to be told that I could not take case today as Pcmall had only informed them i was to VIEW case only and not pickup (as I was told by yourself) - have wasted 2 hours of my time / petrol / been waiting over a month only to find out that Eurobyte CPT have had stock all the time. I am not impressed , I will need to go take another 2 hours off work , more petrol, more time, more hassle for one pc case - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?p=1532839&posted=1#post1532839

It seems I am not alone and that many people on that forum are unahppy with the service pcmall has been offering of late - my shopping experience is not a pleasant one and I am tempted to cancel my full order due to the amount of my time that has been wasted. Doubt I will ever shop with pcmall again or recommend it to anyone.

Update: So yesterday I get back from Eurobyte CPT where Pcmall.co.za said I was welcome to go look at and collect my case if I wanted (the one I was allowed to view but not take home - yeah wth?) - lo and behold I have an Aztec waiting for me at home - not the Smilodon I was told I could go pickup at Eurobyte - then got a call from pcmall this morning saying I could go fetch my Smilodon at Eurobyte CPT - 2 cases for the price of 1 I hear you say eh?

No... :( I'm honest I reported it , their dispatch dept sent me the aztec that I was supposed to go view and then finalized order for Smilodon while they were at it as well - so now I have Aztec and pcmall.co.za has apologized again and said they would courier me the Smilodon and remove the Aztec but I am not bloody prepared to wait another week or two - keeping the Aztec and not paying for anything from an online store till they confirm stock or allow me to pay COD.

Annoyed as hell.
