Hi,

I got the omnia i900 and would like to setup email on it.

i go through all the steps filling in all the required info and then when running active sync it gives me the following error: The security sertificate on the server is not valid. contact your exchange server admin... support code: 0x80072F06 .
i think the problem is because my OWA details is different to my domain.
ex. https://mail.domain.co.za/owa (external)
ex. servername.domainx.co.za (internal)

How can i get WM6.1 to not moan so much about the cert, as i have imported the cert to the root folder but it doesnt seem to like or use it. the cert is a exchange 2007 self issued cert.

Any help please.
Thanks
G

uuum, one of the options is just to disable the requirement to use SSL. I know its not the most secure, but, it does work.

Been there done that. This worked for me: Firstly I went to our outlook web access address on the internet and installed the certificate on internet explorer (didn't have the certificate to begin with) then I exported it from IE (has to be the correct format) then I created a cab file to install the certificate: http://www.amset.info/pocketpc/certificates3.asp copy it to the device and run it. Hope this helps.

Edit: BTW http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=137488 for all things Omnia
