Omnia Modem Setup

Hi Guys , i am trying to setup my Omnia as a modem to use on my laptop , the laptop does not pick up the modem , i even downloaded the latest firmware from samsungblog.co.za and installed even the modem Driver for XP , i am using XP on my machine.

I can still not get the modem to work. Any Ideas ?

Are you trying to connect by selecting Internet Sharing on your Omnia? The laptop might not seem to pick up the modem, but if it picks up the Omnia, then you select Internet Sharing on the Omnia, and that should work?

If you've tried that, check firewall and antivirus setting that may be blocking it.

Start> programs> internet sharing. Select USB cable or Bluetooth and connect...
