Ahhhhhhh it seems it's looks (diamond) vs hardware (omnia).

So hard.

Can Omnia install all the applications that Diamond can?

I am trying to find out the same thing. Seems Samsung haven't made it avalible for download locally, from what i've read you have to take it to a Samsung service center and wait 2 weeks:sick:

listen. The HTC diamond is a wannabe iphone. It has a few bugs, eg: u slide open the keyboard and slide back it freezes. But the screen is great.

Pookster I was at MTN today and the bird said next months specials will be much the same, just a few new phones added. Prices won't change much.

The Omnia is more of a wannabe iPhone judging by the looks though.

I had an iPhone and loved it, but unfortunately can't get another.

I was at one of the iTalk's today and the guy there told me that next month MTN are taking over iTalk...

Do you know what new phones? Anything better than the HTC or Omnia?
 
I reckon one of them will be the Nokia 5800. MUCH better than the omnia/diamond imo.

Why is that? To me it just looks like a normal S60 phone made into a touch screen. Nothing really impressive.

Think your confused, the diamond does not have a hardware keyboard.
 
K I think I'm pretty much sold on the Diamond. The looks, TouchFlo3D, and that amazing VGA screen just do it for me.

I will have to make do without the 5megapixel camera and large storage.

Can't argue with that... X1 rocks. But I think the HTC Touch Pro is right up there with the X1. They both have a few pros/cons over each other.

The touch pro has the same specs as the diamond does it not?

Also doesn't the Diamond have a 128mb video card type thing?

(reviews I have read say that the X1 still lags.)
 
If u not gonna get the X1 then get the TouchPro, dont waste yr time with the Diamond. I'm getting the X1 in 4 months for me thats the best!

The TouchPro is basically the same as the Diamond, just with a slide-out keyboard.
