Hi techs,

I'm looking for an online streaming service provider. Similar to Comcast and ATT that provides a wider range on online tv shows. Netflix would work except it doesn't show Nat Geo, History Channel and Discovery shows. I'm not a series person and prefer Documentaries.

Any Solution to this? Most sites are based in USA and requires a local account.

Thanks!

Just use Kodi.
if you know the name of the show you want to watch its on there. much simpler and easier.

I used to advocate Kodi too but recently it just keeps endlessly buffering if it doesn't just outright say no stream available. In the beginning it worked fine.
8mbps capped package from Wa.
Showmax and Netflix stream no problem.

Rather pay the 8 dollar per month to netflix and get a vpn or unotelly to unlock the US content. I use privateinternetaccess vpn service to unlock, with the ****ty exchange it's up to R650 per year.

your problem is WA not Kodi. I changed to Vox on my 2meg line. sure I still get some cases where there is no stream available, because sometimes it happens. but I dont have buffering or lag issues. we get the show up, pause it for like 30 seconds to give it a small buffer, and then watch through. but we clear the cache after 3 episodes because a 2 meg line and a min PC that cannot really handle the load we put it under.

If it were WA then would some of the sources on Kodi/genesis not stream better if others won't start at all or keep buffering?
If it were WA blocking me would connecting a vpn on kodi not bypass this block allowing genesis to stream properly?
If WA sucks for streaming why does showmax and netflix stream perfectly every time?

Kodi/genesis is not a pleasure to work with.
Kodi by itself if you have your own library is fantastic though.

I had the same problem. I tried out a Vox fatpipe and suddenly the no stream available message decreased.

I also stream twitch and other things. And only kodi had issues.

It's because how the stream reaches you, from the torrent sites that kodi uses. I think at least. But I know nothing can convince me to go back to WA after the issues with billing and cancellation I had with them.

Trust me try Vox, see the difference

try www.tvplayer.com. It has a plus sub with live and catctcup. this may be what you are looking for.

I'm with WA and having some issues with Kodi. Some popular addons just stream so poorly while other of the same quality are fine. You would think then it's the source but it's the most popular addons that are giving the trouble like UK Turk. Perhaps it's congestion on their side.

Netflix US has a tonne of documentaries. just get Unotelly and switch regions.

YouTube is also riddled with all manner of documentaries (from both legal and illegal sources). Might be worth just investing in a cheap Chromecast to put it on the big screen.

I can give a few tips.
First, WA is bad with Kodi, Vox works better IMHO.

we try and user Primewire and streamin for everything, but the moment it is a british show, we do not use them we use Primewire Videx
