Called the CPA and lodged a complaint,

Is the act male or female? Or how do you exactly call the act? Like a taxi? "Wheeeeeet, Hey Act!" Or perhaps like a dog? "Heeere Act! Heeere Act! Sit! Lie down! Goood Act!". It also must have been an interesting conversation, seeing "the Act" is only 5 years old (No. 68 of 2008: Consumer Protection Act, 2008.).

Or perhaps you just have your terminology wrong, and made contact with "The National Consumer Commission"?

It just irritates me to death when someone says that they will call the CPA! The act isn't alive, FFS!

Would not drop below R5000 so they lost a quick cash deal. Would of sold a car at a profit. Bought a car to sell at another profit. Had ± R70,000 in their bank immediately.

But, for others out there, the car market is hard...for the sellers.

You simply have to say "on the road" full in price. No hidden fees; or you walk away

What utter idiots! To lose a deal over OTR costs is just idiotic, and if they bothered to read the news, VW has just had to give their OTR fees back in certain circumstances.
When I was selling, we had a flat 2.5 k fee, but we could actually show you where it went - there is NO way that they can justify 6.9k or 5 k!!

Too many people do not read the fine print until it is too late. Especially if buying on the never never.
