Same model no? Try a fan and see. Anyway while you can read the data without any errors on disk its OK.

Your choice. I know the new seagates et al runs hot to touch. When I place a fan next to it, in a few minutes it is rather cool to the touch (slightly above ambient). If it remains very hot with a fan, well then you can say "Housten,we have a problem"

This one is 7200.7

Its constantly giving me errors... I have actually two of the same drives the other drive works 100% perfect its just this drive that decides suddenly its going to corrupt the MBR...
