I broke something trying to root. Patched the boot image from the beta 4 build. Knew it was going to cause issues and it did, a boot loop, wiped all and started fresh...
Update completed. I have an issue with navigation gestures. I use Nova launcher and whenever I swipe up in the middle it goes to the stock launcher and then if I swipe home again it will go to Nova. I reset cache and checked gesture settings. Everything works ok with the fixed navigation bar. Am I missing something?

Going to have to do a deep dive on Android 11 but the aesthetic updates are a step backwards for me...

Ja. I prefer the aesthetics of Android 10 as well but 11 has some better features such as auto dark mode and AoD that will come in future updates.

Going to give a week or 2 to settle in and then make a decision to roll back or stay put. Quite underwhelmed.

So far so good after 12hrs of usage.
Only issue I had was an intermittent notification that Galley/Photos is consuming excessive battery power. I cleared the cache and data for the app, re-opened it and let regenerate all thumbnails and it seems to be good now.

I did a clean wipe of my phone after the update. Things are smoother now, but a different feeling.
I can now finally cast photos from my phone to the TV, so it looks like DLNA was fixed in this build.
I have one annoying notification in the bar, Whatsapp Web. Anyone know how to get rid of this notification?
And why is Google Play Music still here? FFS

Yeah, mine is activated through NoLimits custom rom. The recorded file is no longer found in the recorder menu/app but in the Phone app, next to the dialed number listed in the call history, hit the 3 vertical dots to open the call details and at the bottom is the sub menu "call recording". The recording can be found and accessed there...
