Just got mine today after a month of waiting!

Quick question - how can i duplicate my S5 apps and settings to work on the new device ( basically I want both phones to have the same apps and data so I can use a dual sim and change phones easily)

Both phones are not rooted

Thanks

Why did it take a month? Shouldn't take longer than a week.

You can't backup app data without root, so forget keeping two devices in sync with third party apps. Your best bet is to just install the same apps on the second device and hope that the important ones offer built-in sync functionality.

I don't even bother with backup apps anymore tbh. All the apps I care about, including but not limited to Tapatalk, Evernote, mSecure, WhatsApp, Nova Launcher Prime, Gmail and Firefox, can backup their own data.

So I've finally started using my device..took a while to get it set up and still haven't installed all my apps yet..the size takes some getting used to but so far I'm loving it..not yet using any of the cases I've bought as yet..I prefer the feel of a phone without a case..the battery life is a vast improvement over my Nexus 5!!I was actually struggling to kill the battery off last night before putting it on charge!!

I've also received another invite from OnePlus if anyone is keen. It expires in 24 hours, so drop a PM if anybody wants it!

Interesting. It speaks of being a battery saver, is that true?

I don't really know, I pretty much went straight to this rom within a couple days of getting the phone, can't really compare.

What kind of screen on time do you typically get?

Lucky for you, it's kind of turned into an obsession of mine! But yeah, that sounds pretty good

I had to give up on that obsession! I was fanatical, checking every 10 minutes, is there a wakelock, extrapolating percentages into expected times etc, drove me nuts. I've now not got any greenify's/BBS apps on my device, I use it, it lasts, I'm at peace with the universe ;)

Tell me about it! I've now removed the percentage indicator in the status bar so I can try forget about it. It's kind of like trying to get the most km's out of one tank of fuel, becomes an obsession!

Temper glass vs the OEM screen protector.

I've applied and used both on my OPO. Please please go with Temper Glass guys, trust me.

I must agree. A modular phone will never be as slim, fast or well rounded as a purposefully made single device.

Something smells like BlackBerry in 2007.... Oh yes, it must be you, sirs, who are getting ready to eat your own words.

A modular phone will have plastic surrounding each removable component. That's a huge amount of stuff to fit in a phone compared to one that only has to worry about the external casing. Please explain how a modular phone won't be bulky compared to most regular flagships?
