Used the official charger this weekend, as I was in a rush and wanted all that 2.1A goodness. It certainly seemed slower than the 1A I'm used to with an old flat prong UK iPhone charger. I was disappointed. When I have more time, I'll do a test with Battery Monitor to see what mAh I get out of the 1A, 2.1A and an older .75A chargers.

Mine charges pretty quick, haven't time it though. Using the official charger.
 
Does anyone have an invite please? I've seen a whole lot of videos about the device and I am now more interested in this than any other mobile device. Please

I ordered the JBL earphones- they were apparently only dispatched yesterday.

@necrosis- check your performance profile is set to Balanced...

I haven't had time to check my chargers. May try this evening.

I came from an ageing S3, ~2.5yrs old. The battery on that was getting tired, and would barely last a day. I'd take a charger with me most places, and I have a mini cable in my wallet at all times.

The OPO battery is quite a lot bigger, but then again, so is the screen + hardware so it's not clear exactly how much of a usage gain one should see. The OPO's battery is obviously new, so it'll only go downhill from here, but I'm seeing about a 2 day battery life with average usage, so an immediate improvement over the S3.

To compare this to a new competitor is more realistic- look at the GSMArena battery ratings for info- I think the OPO stacked up well against the likes of the S5 +Z2/3.

I still have that cable in the wallet, but don't lug the charger everywhere :)
 
Did any1 have problem with registration?
i.e. no further action after you fill up your name and surname when you checkout?

NVM, managed to find a workaround...

they only ship to usa and canada :sick:

Mine finally shipped, will be delivered to Stackry today.

Anybody that used Stackry...did you just let it arrive and reship? No repackaging service etc?

Also, I wonder why they've included 2 x charging units with my order.

Wow, that was quick. Stackry shipped on the same day they received it (last Thursday) and it got to Jhb last night and it arrived in Durban this morning already. It might get delivered today.
