Good move by OnePlus. Cyanogen have gone full potato by backstabbing OnePlus with their Micromax deal in India and with their aspirations of ditching Google. OnePlus would be mad to stay with them.
Sad.
I have enjoyed CM since CM 10.2, IIRC.
Got an invitation for the 64gb OPO and won't be using it if your interested just pm me
Guys, is anyone else experiencing touch screen issues?
Im afraid that Im almost unable to use my phone anymore![]()

Yep. I've gone back to my Nexus 5. The OnePlus was fine for an hour or two after a reboot, but then consistently started missing letters or trying gibberish when swyping, or not registering touches when typing the old-fashioned way. I'll try it again once Lollipop is "officially" out, but I don't have much hope for it being better (having already tried a bunch of different LP ROMs, kernels, etc.).
That is definitely not indicative of most OnePlus Ones. Sounds like you guys have a hardware issue, possibly from a bad batch. I have used to my OPO every day since shortly after it first released and have had no such problems, and I'm running the stock ROM without root. You could try sending it in for repairs, but it might be a slow and expensive process from SA.
I rate its going to be a mission to send back for RMA. Plus my phone has slight cosmetic damage, no Im not even guaranteed that they will fix the phone :/
The problem is not software related. Ive flashed several roms, and the problem persists. Ive also noticed that it gets worse if the phone gets hot. For example if you leave your phone the car, forget about even trying to type a message for at least 30 minutes.
Dont really know what to do about it the issue?!
I'm sure it's not indicative of most, no. But it's typical for many - there are a bunch of threads about it on XDA, with many videos, and a long thread at the OnePlus forums too, with OnePlus investigating it. They claim they can't reproduce it. The consensus does seem to be hardware, but even some folk with newer models (the touchscreen panel manufacturer was changed a few months ago) are experiencing it.

I am having the exact same thing. I, at first, shrugged off the fact that I could not type on the phone as me not being used to the keyboard yet. But, after a while with the phone, I came to my senses and realized that the touchscreen on my particular unit was woefully inaccurate and was getting progressively worse. I will be sending mine back through an RMA. It is going to cost me quite a bit as I have to pay for the shipping both there and (from the forwarder) back as SA is not one of the authorized countries. I feel as if I have to do this as I really don't want a R5000 brick sitting around and I'll still be able to salvage some money. I am also considering selling the replacement when it arrives or trading it for an iPhone 5S/6. So, if anyone is keen, let me know.
The value of your repaired unit will be quite low, and the OnePlus One is a really awesome phone. You'd be better off just using it.
Why do you say that? I was under the impression that they send you a new phone, not a repaired one.
I've been dealing with support to try to arrange an RMA because of my unresponsive touchscreen issues (which looks unlikely at this point). Anyway, their most recent suggestion included sending me a link to this file to flash - it's clearly a ROM, given that it's 495Mb, which means they still think it's a software problem. In which case, don't see why they can't create a smaller patch... anyway - in case anyone else wants to try this, you have the link (which will factory reset your phone, btw.)
If it's a software problem shouldn't most OnePlus One owners have the same issue?
