Terrorist killed after attempting to stab IDF soldier at Gush Etzion Junction

A Palestinian man who pulled out a knife and attempted to stab a soldier at the Gush Etzion junction in the West Bank was shot dead by the army on Thursday.

Soldiers from the Shimshon Battalion, a part of the Kfir Infantry Brigade, opened fire after seeing the attacker lunge forward with a knife.

No soldiers were hurt in the incident.

The soldier who shot the terrorist and thwarted the attack, referred to as "T" by the army, described the incident: "While we were guarding the Gush Etzion junction, we noticed a suspect. We called on him to come across the street to where we were. When he arrived, he pulled out a knife to stab a friend that was with me. At that moment, I cocked my weapon and shot him."

Two Israelis were shot and wounded, including a 16-year-old who suffered serious wounds, by gunfire near Hebron's Cave of the Patriarchs on Friday afternoon. It was the third security incident of the day.

A 40-year-old Israeli was stabbed and seriously wounded earlier in the day, with the attacker fleeing and sending police on the chase. Half an hour earlier, an elderly widow attempted to run soldiers over with a car. Israel said the woman's husband had been declared a terrorist and killed by IDF fire in the first intifada.

Four wounded in West Bank car attack, one wounded in knife attack

A car attack wounded four pedestrians at Tapuah junction in the West Bank on Sunday morning. Two people in their 20s were wounded moderately and seriously while a pregnant woman was lightly injured. A woman suffered light-to-moderate wounds.

Less than two hours later, a knife attack at the entrance to Beitar Illit lightly wounded one person. The attacker was shot and wounded.


At Tapuah, The terrorist drove rapidly towards a group of Israelis standing at a hitchhiking station before colliding with them. Border Two Border Police officers who are permanently stationed at the junction shot at the assailant, who ran into a concrete barrier, and killed him. He was identified at Sulemain Shaheen, 22, of Ramallah.

Sad the assailant ends up dead, but i suppose its a reflex action, muscle memory with the idf,

would love to know why they commit such acts, i mean they need to get it its an instant death sentance for what end?
Israeli will go to hospital, get out in 2 weeks fit as a fiddle,
Pallies will be dead, all for some stupidity,
Makes no sense sometimes,

If they been declared terrorist attacks, shodnt their homes be demolished? To discourage freinds and family trying the same thing?

Its an Intifada at this point, right?

Border policeman wounded in terror attack succumbs to wounds

Border Policeman Benjamin Yaakovovich, 19, who was critically wounded in a terror attack north of Hebron, has succumbed to his wounds on Sunday evening. His parents decided to donate his organs to save the lives of others.



The Border Policeman was critically wounded in a vehicular attack on Highway 60 near Halhul on Wednesday afternoon and has been fighting for his life since at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Karem.

"Staff Seargent Benjamin Yaakovovich Z"L drafted into the Border Police a year and a half ago, and is survived by his parents, brother, and two sisters," a police statment said.

The family has asked for privacy during these difficult times

Apartheid, occupation, discrimination, subjugation, humiliation, collective punishment, land theft, becoming a refugee in your own country, having your house demolished, having babies burnt alive, and the list goes on.....
