I used to play EQ2 but got bored of it is there any other online games (except World of Warcraft) that is any good? I liked the graphics and the general game but when I got to level 55 I was so bored with the same thing over and over again - get quest kill big monster get money get new quest
Any suggestions?

For a shooter, faced paced and alot of fun, try COD4 (call of duty 4)

Try maybe... errr.... whats that other RPG (like WoW)

DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone, help me....... YES! GOT IT!

Guild wars ;)

dont play online games, biggest waste of time on earth, oh and ps: online gaming isnt actually gaming. think about it.

A really fun game that i can recommend is Black Hawk Down. Really old, but awesome for online.

The game has a big following.:)

Yes and no. While playing against the AI in a game can be fun, it will never be as challenging as playing against other physical people online.

Personally I view online gaming as an extension of a games' re-play ability. I mean look at COD4 it takes me less than 6 hours gameplay time to finish but I've had more than 48 hours online play since I got it. Which is a drop in the ocean compaired to others.

Man, the things I would do to be able to get ADSL at my complex. :(

Well if you like playing against other people and playing grouped with them try guild wars.

Also it doesnt cost a fortune around R150 per chapter (there are 4) (only need 1 to play)

Unlike WoW it doesnt take ages to get to a lvl where you can kill everything 20 lvl's lower than you by just looking at it :P

Guild wars has a lvl cap so you can understand its about the skills you use and not the hours you grind away to become a max lvl :)

Also you can play PvP only (you start at max lvl but its only for the realms where you play against other players).

Sure it takes a short time to get to 20 :p

But then theres completing the story for HM, questing for unique abilities (Blessing of the Ursan), Maxxing out certain titles takes a WHILE

All in all, its a massive entertaining game with tons of places to explore... 20 something multiple level dungeons (not pathetic warcraft instances)

GIVE GW2!!!

Have you had a look at Second Life?
It has no goal as such, but lots to see and do, and many roleplay groups in both sifi and fantasy.
Personaly I spend most of my time in there Building, Scripting (writing applications) and chatting with friends from all over the world.
