Online Gaming Latency is high

From the 17 of February 2012 my online gaming experience has been a bad one thanks to iburst's internet problems.

Please post the game you are playing and your latency in the game!

Starcraft 2 have about a 2 second delay

EU, I tested this last week, not this week yet. On WebAfrica I am between 180-230ms

Battlefield 3 on local servers is 200-240 ms that is just not good en enuf for a first person shooter!!

3000ms + on EU Battle.net servers. In other words, unplayable.

U should try playing sc2 on that ping when there is a large battle

World Of Tanks it maxes out on 999ms but from playing it must be sitting more towards 5 seconds.

Sorry to spoil the rant guys...
Can we be more specific with Modem type (1mb / 2mb), hardware (PC / PS3 / xBox) and game? (FPS / Strat / ???)
It's kind of hard guessing where the issues would be with so much varying setups.

I for one am looking for examples where the 2mb modem seems to be having worse latencies than the 1mb modem?
Coincidentally my gaming ping has been horrid.

Battelfield 3 (to SGS, MWEB and iGame servers alike)
Ping generally above 150ms, and even spotted 1245ms and more now and then.
The spikes are horrendous.

Hi all,

My Specifics Problem:
1mb modem
PC
BF3 all servers - cannot connect to any server since 06 April 2012 (was working prior the 6th with ping around 100ms)

Local servers 60 - 150ms
International 250 - 350ms

Most nights it is very playable however over the past 3 months there has been a steady decline in reliability. Lot more lag spikes.

My ping on war3 used to be about 90ms...now I get like 200ms..constant lag...so glad im moving onto 4mb wireless.
