Online glasses ordering

Proper prescription glasses and I have an astigmatism. Also trying to get blue light, anti glare and fog if possible.

Trying to replace my main pair as the local cost is just nuts.
 
After some back and forth regarding my prescription as they had queries, they should be with Fedex on Tuesday or so. Got a quote for locally made glasses and was shocked at R4.8k. As long as I can get 2 decent pairs for under R2.5k I'm a happy chappy.

There Manufactured/On Route status is 100% correct but yeah. Only negative so far for me.

I guess go with zenni….I thought mine have blue light protection but I double checked and they not. But I like my branded frame.

edit: gen 8 transition actually have blue light protection

My girlfriend wants to order 2 pair, a clear and prescription sunglasses. She got a prescription at specsaver but it's a bit complicated for me load it in online site.can someone help with loading the prescription online.
The PD is written as 69/66 . Two PD number ends at 40 so how do I enter that one.

Generally the first number is the single DP and the most common one.
 
Anything to note? Going to pull the trigger with smartbuyglasses, just curious if there is anything I should know before ordering.

Single PD would be 69. Have similarly written values.

Glasses arrived at MyUS on Friday 8/7 but still being allocated to my account and repackaged.
Waiting for them to ship.

Did anyone ever order from https://www.oakley.com directly?
Prices are not too bad actually....but they want the prescription after i order...i find it strange, not all frame types can "handle" my prescription (I have been told i need a full frame).

I sent them an email.
Will be very cool if they can make me glasses like the flak 2 or something similar.
 
So had a long debate with someone and they said that it's impossible that the Smartbuyglasses are comparable to Seiko from a proper optometrist.

I went to Classic Eyes and found a pair that fits better than anything in my life. Tom Ford TF5696. With the high end lenses from Smartbuy it is R5000, from Classic Eyes it is R14750 (with 50% discount o ln the lenses) Because their frames are R7800. Do you think they would ever consider dropping the price? Because this sounds just plain stupid and overcharged.

I hate brands, but the fit is perfect.
 
I am very happy with smartbuy.....not sure who is a proper optometrist and who is not...?
But got great service from smartbuy and good glasses.
 
Received everything today.
One pair isn't my style but great built quality.
Second pair is very weighty and I like it.

Eyes still adjusting to lenses but I'm happy and content about the process.

R1300 odd for the glasses.
R750 for delivery using FedEx Economy.

R2k all in for two pairs of glasses from Zenni.
 
Doesn't anyone sell cheap prescription glasses anymore ? Like can one get it R500 (reading glasses) - or is R500 peanuts now?

There is but not online. You will need to look at local deal. Frame with free glasses.
