Online glasses ordering

Last time, the local optometrist charged me extra for my script when she heard I planned to order online.

Do you blame her though? She's not there just to charge for eye tests and do someone else's donkey work. She does the hard testing work and than someone else makes money using her tests to charge for the final product.

Which she should be making a cut from.

Absolutely agree with her charging extra for the script.

Only a 30 percenter would find her charging extra unfair......the entitlement is REAL

This. Also that's why you have medical aid. They're paying everything through my MSA.

My medical aid is already paying her to do the eye test (and she charges extra when claiming via medical aid, R400, compared to her cash customers, R250). I do not expect to get it for free or at a premium over and above the R400 that my medical aid will be giving her.

Ah yes, them testing you for 15 minutes means that they are due 7k.

Find another optometrist. I struggle to see how you can do everything you need to do in under 15 minutes. Fine, yes, you could, but then you are cutting a lot of corners or you have a seriously uncomplicated and straight forward patient

Nice didn't know you get stick on nose pads. That solved my issue of the glasses sliding. Will see how long the pads / adhesive last. Don't like those with adjustable nose pads since they're harder to clean.

never heard of them, how are they working out for you? My glasses also slide.

With the blue light filter I find that light mode works better for me now. Interesting. Have to switch all my devices back lol.

They lasted about a week before they started falling off lol. Useless.
EDIT: Got these. Hopefully they last longer than a week. Not sure why they give you a zillion of them. They're too small for my sunglasses though.
