Thank you for sharing. It seems to be a fascinating event. I managed to talk to one of the speakers, Jason Eckert (http://triosdevelopers.com/jason.eckert/home.html) and he assured me that some sessions would still be interesting even if you do not currently intend to pursue a Linux certification.
