ditto, i am just a little concerned about SAPO deliveries this year, it is a pity they don't give the option for a non-sapo courier.

Honestly, I would pay almost anything to have this service. Even if it wasn't that efficient, it's still better than doing it yourself. I recently paid a service provider about R600 to do transfer of ownership of a vehicle I purchased privately. After agreeing to the fee I had a sudden thought that I should stop being lazy and just do it myself so I googled the address for the licensing department I would have had to go to. I saw the queues of people snaking out into the road in the street view pictures and immediately decided that I probably would have gladly paid double to have someone else do it for me.

Exactly I've been using them for last 10 years plus at no extra cost, for all my vehicles. A bit sad that municipality's own online services are not mentioned, as we should applaud those which have taken these steps.

I use a company in Durban called Licence Busters (www.licence-busters.co.za). I think they only in Durban but they are fantastic. Used them last year and this year they emailed me to remind me to renew, R200 fee with delivery and it took all of 3 days.

Where did you get the prices from as I went on Natis and got a reply from RTMC and my license fee was R99 No extra fee

You can download it, or just use the attached one.
I did my last renewal on https://online.natis.gov.za/ - it cost R99 extra to have the license couriered to my house.

They emailed me my renewal last year.
I had to register again now on the natis site but no download option available, just the option to pay them online with delivery.
