I cannot take Everyshop seriously if they are going to resort to bait-and-switch marketing. I've discussed it in other threads but flaunting a promotion, only to limit it to certain areas, is not something that I would like to see in an online store trying to make inroads in the market.
ESPECIALLY if the limit applies to all major cities (JHB, PTA, DBN, BFN, CPT, PE) with no prior warning. Case in point:
First they entice you to register by offering you a small discount on new accounts:
Then you see a product you really like, add it to your cart thinking it's a good deal (take note: product is in stock and no restrictions apply):
Only to be met with this message:
I tested around 10 or 12 addresses across the country, most in the bigger metros, and experimented with toggling between business and residential options but I was unable to get past this error.
That, coupled with the requirement for an ID number upon registering, is really off-putting and I can only think that it will hinder their entrance into the market (along with their prices).
