Completely unrelated to the sexual side of things I'm not sure I could ever survive in @Baxteen's (fancy that first time I ever noticed it's not Baksteen) setup because I just can't imagine finding 4 people that are that compatible that they could happily live together.

It's more of a me problem for sure, as I can be quite particular but finding a partner that I can live with is already a challenge trying to add two more to that equation would be almost impossible.

Add the sex to that and it's probably a recipe for disaster on all fronts.

Have no problem with the concept, I just marvel at the fact people actually manage to make it work because I definitely never would.

Even just weekends away with friends are always just weekends because any longer and I would start to get twitchy.

It is not for everyone for sure. What is right for you is right....and what is wrong is wrong. You know yourself well enough obviously to know it is not for you....and that is fantastic.....knowing yourself well enough that this is not something you would want.

for calrity, we are 2 couples, but there is nothing between me and the other guy and no interest in it happening.
for the past 2 years the 4 of us have spent every weekend, and sometimes more together. either all 4 of us in 1 house or a swap weekend. there have been like 6 "couples" weekends where we did not visit each other or swap completely in the past 2 years.

Is it not kink shaming? Adults are indulging in their fantasies and you judging them? I guess it's normal to judge them, I also find it strange, wont ever be able to look at Liefie again if someone else ate her ass and came hot white juice inside of her, but if they want to do it, it's a mutual agreement then why not?
 
@Baxteen not sure if the question is too personal and I don't really care but out of interest, what is your "situation's" view on having kids? Is this a comfortable no from all parties. I'm almost sure you had a vasectomy but I can't remember. What if someone gets pregnant?
 
This is an interesting one.

I have actually gone from having “mostly” open relationships to being monogamous.

I had my fun in 20s couple of scares here and there, a few menages.
If I was not in an open relationship I had a loose moffie or 2 nearby - yes, I still use the M word prodigiously, you dont call a spade a shovel at the end of the day...and its funny.

In my current relationship I am emotionally content enough to be happy with one person.
