Hi Guys

I have MTN fixed LTE Service for business and we need to open one port to share some data across the Internet without VPN, is there away to do this or to get the unrestricted APN activated, Currently using businessbb.lte APN. I know vpn is an option but don't really want to go that route as the staff working remote need to send data on that port to our office server.

Can some one help with this and or advise how I can get this service running ? I have asked MTN to activate the Fixed Ip (static) service, however they have failed to get that working as the IP address on the wan (MTN) side keeps changing

Any help appreciated

I stand corrected but at a previous company I worked port forwarding only works on static IP with MTN.

Takes a day or two to get it done but then port forwarding isn't an issue.

They just need to give YOU a static.

Hope this helps.

MTN no longer offers the unrestricted APN to new lines (standard lines). I have several MTN contracts (standard business lines, not fixed lte) and can't use the unrestricted APN.

As far as I know, it may be possible to get a static IP on the Fixed LTE products when should then allow incoming connections
