Hi there

Please forgive my ignorance, but I received the following message allegedly from Openserve with the following:

"Hi xxxx xxxx. Openserve will be installing your Fibre service that you ordered from Web Africa network (Pty) Ltd at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Order number: xxxxx. Please confirm if you are in a complex and provide complex name and unit number. Please reply to this Sms. Kind regards Openserve team."

Is this a legitimate process? Also, surely Web Africa would have given them all the information?

What's also a possibility is it could be an sms from Web Africa making it look like they have placed the order (when maybe they hadn't?) as I was putting pressure on them as I hadn't heard anything at all for quite a while. It seems a bit of a stretch, as that would be quite a lot of effort to lie...

Yea it looks legit. Openserve will contact you directly. Also when it comes booking times with the fibre team, they will contact you directly. It's to fast track the order, getting webafrica to contact you for the info will cause more headaches.

Ok, cool, thanks for the reply. I just would have thought that WebAfrica would have notified them that I was in a complex when placing the order.
