Openserve Letter in Postbox

Hey,

Yesterday I checked our postbox and low and behold, a 2 page letter from Openserve informing us that our area is getting fibre soon and they require access to our property to do some installation on the pole in our garden.

Now, it was not in an envelope...just two pages not even stapled.

So my question, has anyone else received something like this?

Do I make contact with them...to confirm that its legitimate and not some scam artist trying to gain access to my property?

Vuma is laying in my area - cables done, box installed against my wall, received a call from Telkom, offering me 20MB, uncapped, add landline and unlimited calls to landline, etc. for just over R1100, now the wait started, haven't heard from anyone since last month

People in Kempton Park (spit) had the same joyous letters a few years back. Fiber is on the way. Hoooray. Only to find that the cables were serving infrastructure further North from them. All pavements and driveways ripped up so their Northern neighbors could get their fiber.

That's what I ended up doing. Best decision ever!

Well...They came and went Cable is on the pole. Next will be the splicing team next week.. here's a photo of the cable that Openserve is using on their poles. I counted 10 fibres
