Some advice please.

I had selected axxess as a ISP ordered the Openserve fiber with them.

So Openserve has competed thier work and the fiber is up but this is now on the telkom network can't access the router unless I connect with phone to the wifi and can access that router.

Will post pics and model of this soon.

My question is no where in this router can I put in a pppoe user name and password that axxess has given me.

I do have the B number is this now on a telkom trail for x amount of days the current speed is 20 down and 5 up.

@Captain Axxess had sent you a pm last week with my details.

Not sure what to do next.

Not sure I am hearing you correctly, where does Telkom fits into this puzzle?

You should have two devices, the Telkom ONT (router) nobody can access and a router supplied by your ISP connected to the ONT via it's ethernet wan port which you should be able to configure with your ppp login details.

Doesn't openserve use ppp for all isps? That's the convenience of openserve where you can enter login details for any isp similar to adsl.

There are now 2 different offerings from Openserve.

Openserve fibre connect - up to 500Mbps speeds uses pppoe.

Openserve Web connect - up to 20Mbps speeds uses DHCP.

Thanks for all the replies @cavedog helped early on and found I am on a 30day trail 20mb Openserve Web connect.

Hopefully @Captain Axxess can have a look at it in the morning and advise.
