Received an emailing stating this:

We are having a fantastic ADSL Sale for November 2017. We have slashed the cost of our Capped Unshaped packages to 0.60c per GB on a once off basis.

So at 0.60c per GB, 300GB would cost 180c, which is R1.80.

Later in the email though:

Pricing:

300GB Capped Unshaped - R180
400GB Capped Unshaped - R240
500GB Capped Unshaped - R299
700GB Capped Unshaped - R419

Suddenly now its R180 for 300GB.

0.60c is not 60c

He is right.

It should have been R0,60 or 60c.

Not 0,60c which isn’t even 1c.

It’s more of a syntax concern than a mathematical one.

Whilst that is true technically,it's a common enough mistake for it to be accepted and understood

This is just being pedantic for the sake of it,2/10

Nonsense, it’s about being correct.

How about every who falsely accused the OP go and reverse their statements as they are actually the stupid ones instead of writing it off as “common enough and accepted and understood” which it actually isn’t.

I want to see you tell an accountant that. Even excel will tell you to **** off.
