OpenWeb - 10Mbps Gold After Hours Uncapped

Hi All

Ok so I am deciding to get one of these accounts but before I do I want to know who else has them and do you have any issues?

Will everything run (News Servers etc...) and what usage do you get per month. I know that it is throttled to 256K during 7AM - 7PM and that is fine.

Do you know what BackBone this is running on?

with axxess, weekends were after hours, u could easily pull over 50GB a weekend. If this is a similar product trying to compete, I would hope it worked the same, or else it would be a pretty lame product and not much of a competitor to Axxess Express+

Axxess note a 10 day rolling threshold, though? Unless this:

should a product threshold be exceeded then the connection speed (ie 384, 512 or 1024kbs) for the respective service will be halved from 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

is why Openweb's is always at 192k during the day?


They also mention a "top 20%" moderation, whereas Openweb mention no thresholds or any sign of moderation.

Been using this account for the last 7 months odd and it is fantastic!!!

From 7pm-7am and all weekend it runs pretty much at optimum.

Averaged around 300GB's over the last 6 months no issues..
