Openweb 4 Mbps month end ADSL uncapped: R299

Please shed some light on this?

I read through it twice and still don't understand the part about the gold service?

So you pay more than double what uncapped would cost for 11 days of 12 hour uncapped downloads which basically equates to 5.5 days uncapped for R299.

I am currently with mweb 4mb uncapped 24 hours a day for the whole month at R539. So, for the same thing openweb would charge you more than R1500 for the month. What a rip-off

These are unshaped accounts. Why would I want a crappy shaped account for R539 when I can get an Unshaped one and actually finish my torrents for R299.

You can do more in this half month than you can with those crappy el cheapo shaped accounts. With this account you can easily grab 300 gigs or more before the end of the month. For those that aren't currently on any kind of uncapped it's a massive bargain.

Of course if you don't like it, you are always welcome to not use it. But in true form South Africans like to whine about everything.

yeah after reading this one......

openweb

ill stay away from openweb thanks

LOL... who e-mails tech support and doesn't include a username or any kind of info. What an idiot. I think I would also have given a snotty response. Stupid users.

Keoma normally goes out of his way to thank the user for every e-mail sent. I would really love to see what went on before this e-mail or if this is even real indeed. Somehow I doubt that is the full story.

yeah I also just noticed that the user only has one post, so who knows, maybe you right, it may be a fake.....

The people who work in these companies are human just like us end users. Personally I take my hat off to them for their ability to not drop a few more sarcastic remarks at the incredible number of pricks and morons out there. If Keoma sent me that email, I would just have smiled and coughed up the details. Come on people, give them a break, it is not like they told you to f**k off.

Oh dear, some people really are desperate to destroy OpenWeb's name. Better luck next time.

To answer some of the questions, this is basically our After Hours 4Mbps Uncapped, Unshaped account that usually sells for R1299. Allows for excellent after hours and weekend speeds!

so it's through out the whole month then ? or only from half of the month till end of the month. sorry but sometimes i seriously think we need layman's explanations of some if the things posted here that just gief the needed info upfront without bloating it to a "300 worded" thing. maybe i just need more coffee...

It's a month end special. Will last from today until the end of June. It is designed for those folks wishing to finish off their month end downloads without being shaped.

thank you. R300 not so bad if you take in consideration that 10 gig int costs about R200-300.

It is extremely shocking. What is even more shocking is the fact that folks have gone so far out of their way to invent new ways to show OpenWeb in a bad light.

I have never written such a response to my clients. It is sad that the creators of the post only have a 1 post count, yet he is widely trusted to be a source of the truth.

My clients will confirm that I always try and assist where I can, and in every way I can to resolve any problem they might have. Sarcasm is certainly not how OpenWeb does business.

That is a pretty shocking response, regardless on anything that has gone before.

now thats a silly thing to say, I dont care about openwebs name... I have never dealt with your company and have no personal agenda. I would love to see a number of players stand up and provide competition in this market. That said, the response was pretty shocking, and instead of a lame diversion, I would love to hear your take on it. If there is something we dont know, then tell us, so that we can put this to rest.
