Dear Openweb. You suck.

My uncapped line speed has been insanely slow during business hours lately, and today it was so slow I couldn't even load facebook. I honestly don't download much, and I understand the shaping during business hours, but not being able to read my email for the entire day today is absolute BS.

I called in to your help desk, some girl took down my number and told me that someone else would get back to me. No reply, nothing. What other options do I have left but to flame you on a public forum....
 
What happened to mrBeep - was he fired or something ?

Things seem to have run a lot smoother when he was around.

So tired of getting only half the speed I pay for. Sad fact is - they fix it for a day or two ( or improve matters rather ), then its back to normal, as if just to shut you up, and thinking you will go away.
 
A) Apparently he is very busy... testing new features on unsuspecting customers. :erm:

They're in different classes of product as well, the 2mbps being a flavour of Gold and the other being Titan or similar. I can't exactly remember my own account type either, so can't really blame them for the uncertainty.

Well, I am on an AH business account - I am stable, no throttling, and have great speeds 24/7.

Feel for you on OW, been there, burnt the T shirt.
 
Why is Twitch streaming so bad today. Can hardly sustain a stream without buffering no matter the quality.
 
We have had a few of these reports today on both IS and MTN.

It seems like it is a Twitch general problem. What makes it difficult to troubleshoot is that it is very intermittent.

Its crawling here too dude ... OW have REALLY gone down the tubes seriously ! It's really really bad. If it wasn't for the BOGOF special I bought back in the day - i'd leave at the drop of a hat.

At least half my 4MB is subsidised by my in-laws...
 
Downloads being shaped at this time? Can watch full hd 60fps porn:twisted:, but can't download openoffice in less than 2 hours?! Even my antivirus is struggling to update. Thought my problems were fixed.:(

Yeah, what gives? NNTP only running at 20% speed... at 11PM?
 
I see a new account tier appeared. Same price as my Gold account yet marketed as unshaped.... Email sent to support with some questions.

Update:
Simple product inquiry has been escalated and someone will get back to me.

I asked if I could be moved to this new account but alright I'll give it a while.
